On a sunny Saturday in April, we had the pleasure to welcome 60 students of the Lund Academic Wine Association at our vineyard. This is a wine association founded in 2015 by a group of students interested in wine. They have rapidly been growing in numbers from the start and is now the largest association for wine-loving students. The association arranges a lot of wine events in Lund, but also travels to taste wine and experience vineyards. For this occasion, they visited us and a colleague of ours Flyinge Vingård.
During their visit we gave them an overview of who we are and what we want to achieve. We had a guided tour around the property where we talked about our sustainable agriculture methods. We also talked about the challenges of making wine in Sweden and about the Swedish wine industry itself. After, we had a tasting with our own beverages, a sparkling, a white wine and a distillate: Josefinelust 2019, Immelen 2020, and Bränneslyckan Fatlagrad.
This day truly was an exchange of knowledge and passion, which we enjoyed very much. Until next time!
Big thanks to Studio Vega HB for the nice pictures.
