Robert Steidl

Being a young and dedicated team making wine in an upcoming wine country as Sweden, we are tremendously happy for the support from experienced, open-minded and dedicated Prof. Dipl.- Ing Robert Steidl from Austria. Since 2017 he has contributed in many ways to our development, out in the vineyard and also in our winemaking.

The HBLA und Bundesamt für Wein- und Obstbau in Klosterneuburg, the famous and only Austrian Federal State High School for Wine And Fruit, has since 1988 been Roberts alma mater. He was Head of the Department of Enology and then Head of the Viticulture Institute for more than 25 years before retiring in 2019. He was responsible for research and education in “Wine Technology“ with the aims to increase the quality of wine through optimized processing, development and application of adequate methods, today also more and more under the objective of sustainability.

“Working with the fine team at Kullabergs Vingård as mentor and consultant allows to bring in knowledge of more than 30 years and to take on todays challenges and opportunities”, says Robert Steidl.

Mia Fischer

Our mission is to produce world class wines in a part of the world that for many seems cold and remote. To reach our ambitious goals we are happy for perspectives bringing great knowledge, a highly developed sensory pallet, curiosity and “fingerspitzengefühl”. Therefor we are very happy to have Mia Fischer in our team!

Mia Fischer is an Oenologist and Viticulturalist who studied in Stellenbosch, South Africa. She was working almost a decade in ultra-premium winemaking under the guidance of Professor Denis Dubourdieu, who is the one first introducing the SIMONIT&SIRCH principles of respectful winter and spring pruning to their vineyards. Thereby she obtained first-hand experience in important principles and practices in South Africa and abroad, witnessing the benefits in wine quality. She is now operating as trainer and manager in Australia and the USA.
